Serving in Tanzania offers a unique opportunity to partner with a growing local ministry that is faithfully advancing the Gospel in both urban and remote communities. Teams will come alongside ongoing work focused on evangelism, discipleship, and compassionate care for vulnerable families and children.

Based in Arusha, this ministry is actively planting churches, caring for orphans, and meeting tangible needs in surrounding villages. Teams serve in a relational, community-focused environment where the goal is not just activity, but strengthening long-term Kingdom work already taking place.

Our partner is actively:

  • Planting churches among unreached tribes in regions with little Gospel presence

  • Developing a Community Hub in Arusha to serve as a base for discipleship and outreach

  • Caring for vulnerable children through the Good Shepherd’s House orphan ministry

  • Providing practical support such as food, clothing, and school supplies

What will my team be doing?

Teams play a role in encouraging these efforts—building relationships, supporting outreach, and helping strengthen what God is already doing through the local church.

Children’s Ministry & Community Engagement

Teams will spend significant time with children in the village—leading games, Bible activities, and encouragement. The Community Hub has already become a gathering place for children and families, creating natural opportunities for connection and ministry.

Community Outreach & Evangelism

Work alongside local leaders to visit homes, pray with families, and share the hope of the Gospel in nearby communities.

Church Planting Support

Encourage and support ongoing church planting efforts among unreached communities in regions such as Tanga, Dodoma, Morogoro, and Pwani.

Compassion Ministry

Assist with outreach efforts that meet tangible needs—helping distribute food, clothing, and supplies while building relationships with families.

Light Service Projects

Depending on current needs, teams may help with practical projects at the Community Hub, such as painting, organizing, or preparing ministry spaces.
