Trip Information

Servant Life teams serving in Rochester, Minnesota, will have the opportunity to come alongside local ministry leaders as they reach children and families through summer camp ministry. 
 

Kids Camp reaches kids from PreK through 6th grade through sports, creative arts, adventure activities, worship rallies, Bible stories, and spiritual formation. The camp is designed to be fun and engaging, but the purpose is always to point kids to Jesus.

Through sports ministry, teams may also help serve at sports camps where students grow in athletic skills, character, and faith.

What will my team be doing? 

​

• Helping lead games, sports stations, or creative activities

• Assisting coaches and camp staff

• Building relationships with children and families

• Supporting worship rallies and Bible teaching times

• Encouraging campers throughout the week

• Serving behind the scenes with setup, cleanup, meals, and logistics
   

What does a general weekly schedule look like?

• 7:30 AM – Breakfast and team devotion
  8:30 AM – Arrive at ministry site / camp preparation
  9:00 AM–3:00 PM – Serve with Kids Camp or sports camp
  12:00 PM – Lunch onsite or with team
  3:30 PM – Cleanup, team debrief, and rest
  5:30 PM – Dinner
  7:00 PM – Evening team gathering, worship, or local outreach opportunity​​

What does my cost include?​

​

• Housing. Your team will sleep in dorm accommodations with access to hot showers and bathrooms.

• Meals. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every day!

• T-Shirt. Every participant gets an awesome mission trip t-shirt.

• Pre-Trip Training Material. We provide training sessions, trip overview documents, assistance from our team of mission trip experts, and communication with in-country missionaries to make sure your group is fully prepared for your trip.

• Pre, During, and Post-trip Devotionals. This 4-week printed missions journal will help every team member grow and encounter Christ.

• Transportation is NOT included in the trip cost. You will be responsible for traveling to Memphis as well as having vehicles to get around during the week.
