Kosovo is a young country with a unique story.
 

It is a culturally Muslim (99% of people claim to be Muslim); however, most people are nominal in their faith. The country's population is also very young. approximately 40% of the population is under the age of 25. This, along with the US's involvement in stopping the war in 1999, allows for huge opportunities to share the Gospel as a young American.

What will my team be doing? 

Ministry in Kosovo takes many different forms. Participants will have the opportunity to be involved in various ministries, including kids' camps, youth ministry, event planning, and street evangelism.

This could include:

• After-school programs

• Working at youth centers

• English as a Second Language Lessons

• Roma Population Ministry

• Youth Camps
   

If you like to be hands-on in ministry, have a servant heart, and can be flexible in a collectivist, people-oriented culture, come join in on what the Lord is doing in Kosovo!

What does a general weekly schedule look like?

• Friday. Depart from the U.S. in the evening.

• Saturday. Arrive in Kosovo and travel to a selected lodging location for orientation.

• Sunday. Orientation / Church

• Monday - Thursday. Ministry days.

• Friday. Cultural Tour

• Saturday. Depart from Kosovo and arrive back in the U.S. on the same day.

What does my cost include?​

• Housing. Your team will stay at a local hotel or guesthouse while in Kosovo.

• Meals. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day (Note: You need to pay for your meals at the airport while traveling or on tourist excursions, etc.)

• Supplemental Traveler's Medical Insurance. In the event of a medical emergency, you'll be covered with an international policy! *Interested in upgrading to a more comprehensive insurance plan that includes trip cancellation and interruption coverage? • T-Shirt. Every participant gets an awesome mission trip t-shirt.

• Pre-Trip Training Material. We provide training sessions, trip overview documents, assistance from our team of mission trip experts, and communication with in-country missionaries to make sure your group is fully prepared for your trip.

• Pre-, During, and Post-trip Devotionals. This 4-week printed missions journal will help every team member grow and encounter Christ.

• In-country transportation. From the moment you land at the airport until the moment you leavee, we will take you everywhere during the week. You will not need to arrange your transportation, but teams should be prepared to do some walking as we navigate different villages and communities.

​Airfare is not included in the trip cost but will be taken care of by Servant Life's travel agent, who gets humanitarian rates and often free baggage. You may book on your own if you prefer to do so, but we ask that our staff approve the itinerary first.
