Milwaukee: Fostering hope and unity in the city

ree

We love getting to send short-term mission teams to Milwaukee, WI to be a part of their efforts to break the cycles of generational poverty. Our partner, City on a Hill, strives to transform cities and families by restoring hope, enhancing quality of life, and advancing justice for all generations.

Many probably know Wisconsin for their cheese and milk as it has earned its nickname, America’s Dairyland. However, it is also known for its abundant agriculture and tourism.

City on Hill desires to see the cycles of poverty broken within families and cities. They leverage the strengths of their community to move towards spiritual, social, educational, and economic healing. Our partner understands there are a variety of factors that contribute to poverty, and they are intentional to meet needs through service and gospel sharing.

Short-term mission trips in Milwaukee consist of hands-on ministry through service and outreach. All ministry is centered around compassion, discipleship, and servanthood

Teams also get to participate in development opportunities like a poverty simulation, spiritual preparation, and a racial reconciliation workshop.

If you are considering ministry in Milwaukee, we would love to hear from you. Contact us at info@servantlife.com
