Dominican Republic: Joining the local church in ministry

ree

We are so thankful for our partnership with Integral Christian Mission in the Dominican Republic whose desire is to exhort local churches and pastors through meaningful relationships and service.

The Dominican Republic lies on the Hispaniola Island in the Caribbean as the neighbor to Haiti. The small island is home to over 10 million people, and around 20% of this population is not religious. Much of the population is still in poverty. This allows  short term mission teams many opportunities to share the Gospel.

Our partner ministers to and invests in the local churches throughout the Dominican Republic to help expand God’s Kingdom. In a country where around 50% of the population is in poverty, the vision of Integral Christian Mission is to “transform the marginalized and vulnerable communities with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ”.

When serving in the Dominican Republic, short-term teams can join our partner in supporting local churches and pastors in a variety of ways. There are ministry opportunities in VBS, sports camps, visiting homes, hosting block parties, evangelism, and light construction.

Your group could be a part of the ministry happening in the Dominican Republic. If you are considering going on mission to the D.R. or another location, we would love to help make this mission trip a reality.
