Church partnership, Bible clubs, recreational ministry, sports outreach, and service projects.

​What will my team be doing? 

Your team will be partnered with a local church for the week and helping that church do outreach in the community. This is often accomplished through an outreach event such as a recreational camp, sports camp, or a Bible club. Even in a sports camp setting, your team would have the opportunity to share Bible lessons and point students toward the hope of Christ. By doing ministry in conjunction with a local church partner, your outreach for the week will not only be a catalyst for short-term fruit and gospel conversations, but will also be connected to long-term strategy and ongoing ministry efforts.

Sports Teams: Northern Ireland is a great location to bring your high school or college sports teams. Engage with local schools and sports clubs through soccer, basketball, volleyball, and more. Group can help facilitate camps and clinics for players and coaches. Our role is to equip and train them to be better at their game and to be followers of Jesus through sports. We are looking for skilled individuals to provide instruction on: skills, drills, physical fitness training, injury management and prevention, team management and development, and spiritual development. As sports leaders, we will share our personal testimony with small groups of athletes/coaches, and may have the opportunity to reach many through soccer matches.

What does a general weekly schedule look like?

• Friday. Depart from US.

• Saturday. Travel day. Arrive and get settled in.

• Sunday. Worship with local church. Orientation for the week of ministry ahead.

• Monday - Friday. Main ministry days. Bible clubs or recreational / sports ministry.

• Saturday. Could be a ministry day or could be a tourism day to visit cathedral, historic cities, market, etc. Some teams may do this earlier in the week or even throughout the week.

• Sunday. Travel day. Depart for home. Arrive home same day.

What does my cost include?

• In-country transportation. In-country transportation. From the moment you land at the airport until the moment you leave, we will take you everywhere during the week. You will not need to arrange your own transportation, but teams should be prepared to do some walking as we navigate different villages and communities.

• Housing. Your team will stay in hotels or a hostel type of setup that is safe and verified by our UK team! 

• Meals. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every day! (Note: You need to pay for your own meals at the airport, while traveling, etc.)

• Supplemental Traveler's Insurance. In the event of a medical emergency, you'll be covered with an international policy!

• T-Shirt. Every participant gets an awesome mission trip t-shirt.

• Pre-Trip Training Material. We provide training sessions, trip overview documents, assistance from our team of mission trip experts, and communication with in-country missionaries to make sure your group is fully prepared for your trip.

• Pre, During, and Post-trip Devotionals. This 4-week printed missions journal will help every team member grow and encounter Christ.
   

Airfare is not included in the trip cost, but will be taken care of by Servant Life's travel agent who gets humanitarian rates and often free baggage. You may book on your own if you prefer to do so, but we ask to approve the itinerary first.
