South Africa has three capital cities: Cape Town, Pretoria, and Bloemfontein.

Cape Town
Cape Town is the largest of South Africa's three capital cities, and is the second most-populous, and largest in land area in all of south Afica. Cape Town is considered the Legislative Capital, meaning this is where the National Parliament and many government offices are located. Due to the large number of tourists and residents in Cape Town, it is considered one of the must culturally diverse cities in all the world.

Pretoria
Pretoria is South Africa's Executive (administrative) Capital. Originally known as Pretoria Philladelphia, Pretoria is located in the north-eastern section of South Africa, about 50km (30 miles) north of Johannesburg. Tourist attractions within Pretoria include the National Zoological Gardens of South Africa, the Pretoria National Botanical Garden, mulitple museums, and several smaller parks and gardens.

Bloemfontein
Popularly known as the "city of roses" for the abundance of flowers and flower festivals held here, Bloemfontein is South Africa's Judicial Capital. This city is an administrative centre and home to many private hospitals and educational institutions. It is located in central South Africa and is host to several sports such as stadia, football, rugby, cricket, soaring, and motor sports.
