Take along all prescription medicines needed for your trip in their original prescription container. For international travel, all childhood and adult immunizations should be up to date, including tetanus. Please check with your local physician and www.cdc.gov/travel for a list of recommended immunizations for Costa Rica.
Always remember to take plenty of insect repellent and drink lots of water. The sun can be very strong, so use lots of sunscreen and wear a hat. Don't forget to take along a pair of comfortable walking shoes, and a good pair of sunglasses.
